Celebrate the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Join us for Mass on Friday, August 15, at 6:30 pm at Assumption Parish as we celebrate our parish feast day, with a wine and cheese reception to follow. Please note: Our 9:00 am Daily Mass will be moved to 6:30 pm for this special occasion. All are welcome to celebrate with us!

On August 14th, at AMC Oak Tree 6, our parish is hosting an exclusive pre-release screening of Triumph of the Heart, a feature film about the untold story of St Maximilian Kolbe and his companions' triumph over death through forming a brotherhood of hope in the darkness of Auschwitz. Join for this inspiring Executive Speaker Series with the founder of the St. Francis Xavier Lay Missionary Society, Tricia Bølle Tricia will share her testimony of faith, focusing on the importance of witness and how her understanding of success shifted through prayer and discernment. She'll discuss her decision to change career paths and how to radically step out for Christ, especially within a corporate environment. ASSUMPTION & ST. BRIDGET SVDP JUNE REPORT St. Vincent de Paul has been helping an increasing number of needy neighbors. As a result, the pantry shelves have many empty areas. We can especially use canned fruit, soup, protein bars, pasta sauce, laundry detergent, and shampoo. We can also use paper grocery bags. With your help, we can continue to help our neighbors. Donations can be left in the narthex of the church or brought to the church office during their business hours. Thank you.

The Homebound Ministry at our NE Catholic parish family currently has 17 volunteers who regularly bring the Holy Eucharist and provide companionship to 59 parishioners at 15 different locations. This includes our seniors, the sick, and those disabled or recovering from an injury who are living at home or in a local care facility but are not able to attend Mass. Continue reading...

In mid-June, twenty-five NESCC parishioners met at St. Catherine’s Victoria Hall to develop a common mission statement for our parish family’s Social Justice Ministry. The Climate Justice Committee of St. Joseph Parish in Seattle welcomes you to a Novena to St. Kateri Tekakwitha! St. Kateri Tekakwitha (1656-1690) was the first person of the North American First Nations to be named a saint by the Catholic Church. She was canonized on October 21, 2012.
